How do I find out what Shopify theme a store is using?

To find out which theme a Shopify store uses, enter its address in the detector above. It loads the store's homepage and reads the theme name the storefront reports to Shopify, along with the apps and ad pixels on the page. You can do the same by hand: open the store, view the page source, and search for "Shopify.theme"; the "schema_name" value is the original theme and "name" is what the merchant called their copy. The most common result is Dawn, which runs on 150,990 of the 750,590 active stores we track (20.1%), ahead of Horizon and Prestige (October 2026). Stores built on a custom or headless storefront report no public theme, and a heavily customized store still reports the theme it started from, so the result tells you the codebase, not the design work done on top of it.
