New Shopify stores this week
Updated · How we collect this data
From October 17, 2026 to October 24, 2026, our discovery found 199,177 new Shopify domains through freshly issued HTTPS certificates. 108,732 were live stores, 17,496 were password-protected (still being built) and the rest were offline or not Shopify. A new certificate is not always a new store, so we count a store as just opened when its first product was published in the last 30 days: 3,093 stores met that bar. 38.2% of the live ones are based in United States, 25.4% launched on Dawn and Judge.me is the most installed app at launch (23.6%).

How do you find new Shopify stores?
Every website that switches on HTTPS gets a certificate, and certificates are published in public Certificate Transparency logs. We read those logs as they are written, check each new domain that points to Shopify, and add the live ones to our weekly crawl. A certificate can also belong to an older store renewing its domain, which is why "just opened" is judged on the first published product, and only for stores with 50 products or fewer, whose whole catalog we read.
Watch new stores in your niche
Look up any of these stores, track the ones that matter and see what they launch, week by week.
